Bardo of Becoming
Interpretative/symbolic work that explores Tibetan Buddhist concepts of the afterlife phase known as the Bardo of Becoming. It is associated with the experience of death in which the mind is no longer obstructed or limited by the physical body. Moving through these various stages, or bardos, the spirit has “infinite possibilities for becoming reborn in different realms.” For more details see, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, Sogyal Rinpoche (Harper Collins, 1994).
